Spa Pool Essentials FAQs
What chemicals do I need to maintain my spa pool water?
At a minimum, you’ll want a sanitiser (such as chlorine or bromine) to keep your water safe, a pH balancer to keep the water comfortable on your skin, and regular test strips to monitor your levels. We also stock treatments like Simplesilver, a mineral-based sanitising system that can reduce how much chlorine or bromine you need to use. Our team can help you put together the right chemical kit for your specific spa pool or visit our Spa Pool Chemical Guide to learn more.
Do I really need a spa pool cover lifter?
A cover lifter isn’t essential, but it makes a big difference to day-to-day use. Spa pool covers can be heavy and awkward to manage alone, so a lifter helps you open and close your spa safely without straining your back – and makes you far more likely to keep it covered between uses, which helps retain heat and keep debris out.
Do you sell spa parts?
Yes – our North Shore spa showroom stocks a range of spa parts, such as jets and PVC fittings, and our team can help you find what you need. If we don’t have a specific part on hand, we’re often able to source it for you, so it’s worth getting in touch with your spa’s make and model.
